Kitchen Makeover By: Barbara

Our kitchen has been bugging me for a couple years now. When we bought the place I loved the cabinets and now 6 years later I'm not a huge fan. White cabinets get dirty. We really, really don't want to deal with or pay for a remodel….So I decided to paint. Isla and I made a trip to Lowes for some paint and paint brushes and I couldn’t wait to get started.  
I started sanding and painting yesterday.  I'm painting them white again.....just because it's easier. I'd love to paint them a new dark color but I just don't have the time.  I'll post pictures when I'm done. At the rate I'm going it will take another week or two until I'm finished. I only have time to re paint during nap time and even that time can’t only be used for painting.  I have paint on my hands and in my nails, and you know what? I like it....I like being productive, I like taking care of something’s that's been bugging me! 

This is the only picture I have of the cabinets. Look at my sweet baby girl! She was so little, what I wouldn't give to just squeeze her!!! She was watching her daddy make pizza and then 5 minutes later her diaper exploded! LOL!
