Where to begin......

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. When I go this long without blogging I don't know where to start writing.....so I may ramble on.

So it's the big Thanksgiving weekend. I love Thanksgiving weekend. I love to spend lazy day's at home, eat, and do all my shopping online. We kicked off our Thanksgiving weekend by going to Disneyland, having passes has been amazing so far.

I think everyone knows I'm most thankful for these two people right here.

Isla was exhausted after Disneyland so a mellow day at home on Thanksgiving was just what we needed. Isla loved eating all the food.....shocker, I know. If you know Isla you know you have to gaurd your plate because she will steal your food. She now loves to say "I like bread" while stealing your bread.

I'm not a black Friday shopper. I'm not a fan of waiting in the cold at midnight to fight with people for something. I also find it sad that people are required to work because people have to have things. I found the same deals online without leaving my couch! All of Isla's gifts will be coming right to my door with free shipping. I was able to buy Alex's gift weeks ago so I feel on top of things. I like to give my girlfriends little handmade gifts with a little something special. I started crafting and can't wait to share with my friends and family.

So now that you know I hate black Friday shopping you'll know the fact that I HAD to shop on black Friday made me nuts today. Our fridge broke Thanksgiving of all days. We knew if was dying a slow death but Thanksgiving? We were.... well I was a bit stressed, I didn't want our food to spoil. So right after breakfast we went out and got a new beauty to hold all our food. I don't even know if we got a great deal. We're annoyed because our fridge was only 6 years old. Gone are the days where appliances are handed down for years. It's a great fridge with french doors so I am excited to get it but only after 6 years not so much. The real reason I'm excited to get french doors.....Isla can't get into it when I have it open!!! YAY!

Speaking of Isla......She's growing right before my eyes. She's talking in sentences and saying something new all the time. She shockes me when she says things like "mmmm, that's taste good mom-mom." Or "What's that noise?" And "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas." She's growing way too fast and I feel like the holiday's are already flying by and it's not even December yet. She's also in a terrible two's phase. The girl doesn't want to hear the word "no." She wants what she wants and she wants it NOW. We've introduced time outs and they seem to work. They calm her down so we can talk about the matter at hand. I know it's a phase and in time this will pass but my hair is turning gray as I type.

I'm so happy I was able to check in and I hope everyone is enjoying this Thanksgiving weekend.
