My spirited child

Isla has been a bit nutty spirited lately. The so called terrible twos have arrived at the Beron household. She's testing us all day long. Sometimes I want to pull my hair out, sometimes I want to run away and sometimes I just want to laugh!!!

This morning was one of those toddler moments that left me laughing in the other room after I explained to Isla why what she did was wrong. Let's start at the beginning. Isla has had wet socks every morning the past few weeks. I was always left scratching my head. I had no idea why her dang socks were wet. So this morning Isla was playing upstairs while I cleaned around her. It was time to vacuum the stairs and when I was finished I heard the water running. The noise was coming from her bathroom. I thought to myself...."Hmmm, how did she reach her sink?" I run up and find Isla in her bathtub holding my makeup brush with the water ON! ( Don't worry the tub wasn't plugged.) I should have taken a picture. She looked so proud of herself. This explains all the wet socks but this was the first time she had turned the water on. She had been using her step stool to get into the tub to play! I put the step stool up high and I found her in the tub again anyway! So this is our newest battle. What am I going to do with this girl?

She gives me a run for my money and I'm going to blame her dad. She is always moving and always on the go just like he is. I was told I was a mellow baby/toddler so it surely can't be from me.......unless my parents were blowing smoke up my ass. Even if she makes me crazy some days she's still perfect in my eyes. She runs circles around me one minute and then she can be so sweet and cuddly the next. I just love her to pieces.
