I never let the world wide web know that I'm home alone. I'm paranoid I tell ya! When I was around 8 or 9 my Mimi's apartment was broken into. We lived right next door to each other and when you see your dad running down a dark hallway with a gun at 2am it freaks you out for life. My Mimi ended up being okay but we were all rattled. I think that gives me a good reason to be a bit paranoid.
We weren't able to spend Valentines together as a family so I took Isla to Disneyland for a mommy daughter day. We walked, chatted, went on rides, had lunch together and had a Valentines day treat. It had been a couple of long days. We were home bound for 48 hours alone while Isla got healthy. Just our luck she spiked her fever the day Alex left..... A fun day out was much needed. We were both a bit board and needed to see other people.
It ended up being a nice quite Valentines day. I'm very lucky that I was able to spend it with my girl at Disneyland.

Aww that sounds like the perfect way to spend Valentine's day when the hubby is away! I totally understand about the Internet and being paranoid.....I don't like people to know if we're not at home, or if I'm home alone. Better safe than sorry ;)
